The Kabooster step stool started out as a gift for my niece Kelsey's 3rd Christmas in 1992. I designed and built her a step stool that looked very similar to the ones sold today. After she received it, my sister noted that Kelsey loved to pick it up and carry it around with her. It became her exploring buddy. The key to its popularity was the integrated handles that made it easy for a her to lift and move around.
Since then the design has gone through many changes. Curves were added, material quality and construction methods changed to increase durability, and the handles were painted to add personality.
Kabooster step stools were first sold to the public in 2002. Kabooster is dedicated to producing wood products of exceptional quality and durability.
